To disable the hud in Enclave, find the file:

Enclave\Sbz1\registry\TplCharacters.xrg

Open with Notepad or other text editor.

At the top you will see:

*template_char
{
    *classname character

Add the following under 
*classname character:

    *flags nohud

Save the file, load the game, and the hud will be gone.
